We are Saleasy – Turkey’s first Europe oriented e-commerce enabler. Saleasy is a service provider that enables brands to start selling at Europe’s leading e-commerce platforms.

 

Saleasy offers one-stop solutions to brands by providing end-to-end e-commerce solutions. We are a bridge between brands and e-commerce platforms. We manage procedures, provide communication, and undertake operations between brands and Europe’s leading e-commerce platforms each of which has unique rules. We manage the following services for our brands:

  • E-commerce entry preparations
  • E-commerce platforms listings
  • E-commerce operations
  • Marketing
  • Shipment and delivery
  • Warehousing and fulfillment
  • Customer services

About The Role

As our new marketing manager, you will be responsible for the marketing activities of the b2c side of Saleasy’s business; Popquarter. Popquarter has a wide range of products in fashion, (clothing, shoes, etc.), home decoration, sports, living & cooking, household, and auto & motor categories. Our primary sales markets are the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and soon we will expand to Germany, France, and the UK. Our current sales channels are marketplaces in Europe such as Bol.com and Amazon.

You will be responsible for creating and executing the Popquarter marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. Our ideal candidate needs to have a strong e-commerce marketing background with experience in digital marketing, social media management, European e-commerce markets, and European marketplaces. Your main KPI will be generating sales, hence increasing the number of Saleasy’s European customers, who are the primary buyers of Popquarter products.

You will actively participate in the following tasks. You will work on finding and employing relevant tools to build and increase the efficiency of the relevant processes:

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in European e-commerce markets is a must
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing and European marketplaces
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English as you will be in touch with 3rd parties in Europe daily
  • Strong interest in a start-up environment
  • Highly proactive, hands-on, and self-reflective personality
  • Self-motivated with a focus on driving results and a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Visionary and focused in a fast-changing and dynamic environment

 

Responsibilities

General

  • Evaluating current needs of the  b2c part of the business
  • Developing a b2c marketing plan in line with the business objectives of Popquarter
  • Analyzing Popquarter’s sales performance, prepare regular reporting on performance, and create an action plan
  • Plan and lead the preparation of promotional marketing tools (such as presentations, videos, or case studies)

 

Social Media

  • Build and manage our Popquarter’s digital media presence on social media platforms
  • Define the most important social media KPIs
  • Design, plan and execute marketing activities to generate sales through Popquarter social media accounts (e-shops)
  • Create and manage the content and image design workflow of our social media channels
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

 

B2C Customer Growth

  • Development and implementation of b2c marketing plans to increase sales
  • Plan and implement promotional activities with a marketing calendar for the current b2b customers
  • Develop and manage CRM infrastructure
  • Build and optimize customer acquisition channels (especially organic) such as SEO, SEM, partners, referrals, digital, email, social media, and more. Avoid paid user acquisition as much as possible
  • Find and activate new b2c or b2b online sales channels
  • Build marketing partnerships with 3rd parties in Europe to meet sales objectives
  • Plan projects to increase customer satisfaction
  • Create and manage customer communication plan
  • Developing a creative customer review mechanism in marketplaces

 

European Marketplaces & PPC

  • Lead and manage the product of optimized product images on marketplace listings
  • Plan and execute PPC Advertising campaigns in e-commerce platforms (marketplaces)
  • Activate and manage PPC methodologies across all major search engines (Google Shopping) & social media ads (Facebook, Instagram, etc) & marketing automation & CRM (Hubspot) and different triggers to CRO worldwide.
